Dr. Dexter Blome established the Cosmetic Surgery Center of Ohio, Inc. in July of 1991, when he moved to Ohio from Los Angeles, California. His Practice is dedicated to a wide variety of Plastic and Reconstructive procedures, and specializes in Breast Surgery and Body Contouring, for which Dr. Blome has become renowned.
Dr Blome has had a lifelong dedication to the field of medicine, and chose his profession after being raised in a Midwestern household where his father was a surgeon and his mother a nurse. Along with his personal passion, his academic career, surgical background and training are extraordinary.
Dr. Blome has a Master of Science and a PhD in Anatomy and was a member of the teaching faculty at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine for three years. In addition to having two advanced medical degrees (M.D. & Ph.D.) he has achieved Board Certification in, not just one, but two surgical specialties from: American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
Upon completion of residency training, Dr. Blome was honored by being selected for two Cosmetic Surgery Fellowships in Beverly Hills, California. These two prestigious programs offered advanced training specifically in Cosmetic Surgery with two internationally acclaimed plastic surgeons: Richard Ellenbogen, M.D. and Steve Hoefflin, M.D.
Dr. Blome’s "advanced training" in Cosmetic Surgery enables him to modify techniques for each patient in order to meet their specific, individual needs.
